KFNB Reader Technology
The KFNB Reader is a text recognition app
that is honorably fast app. You can just take a picture of a newspaper and
an article or almost any printed text and with a couple of seconds the app will
be reading the text and give result back to you. In a " pair of
seconds" which is no exaggeration, or the KNFB Reader app is so fast. And For
people who are visually weakened or have difficulty in reading, the KNFB Reader
is perfect for accessing printed text.
So once a document is properly framed, so you
can only one more step is necessary to start reading this document. And simply
press the take picture button and within some seconds the app will recognize
the text within the document using optical character recognition (ORC) which starts
reading it with the text to speech. And No need to crop or adjust the
image, once the picture is taken the app does all the work. It’s All
recognition is done locally on the device so personal data is never transmitted
over the internet.
And The KNFB Reader
app have a number of features that help the users to capture images of text. And
For users who are blind and visually weakened the app offers a "field of
view report" that which offers to spoken response to help to frame the
document in the view finder. So these features will let a user’s know how many
corners of this document are within the field of view and if the document is
tilted. And In addition, the app offers automatic taking picture mode which is
automatically take snap of a picture of a document when it is in properly
framed. So this app also includes the ability to capture multi-page
documents with group mode. And the field of view feature worked well with the loose
paper documents, but I did not have success using the automatic capture feature
with the books.
And In addition to using the devices with built in camera to capture images, and users can also import image which based PDF documents and JPG files to be recognized with this app. For example, using the "open in" feature of Google Drive can acknowledge a user to import an image to be recognized and read with KNFB Reader.

In which Text is can
be highlighted with word-by-word or line-by-line as it is being read loudly by
the text to speech voice. And users can adjust the layout and look of the
text and change the speaking rate of the text-to-speech voice. And only the
default iOS is text-to-speech voice is available, so users hoping that to use
another voice will have to export the text to another app. And the built-in
text reader also absences the ability to highlight or explain the document, so
once again users are looking for this functionality which need to export the
text to a different app.
And While the KNFB
Reader this app is much faster and more precise than its competing products
such as Prizmo, And Prizmo can include some useful features that KNFB Reader
does not. But Prizmo, which is considerably less expensive, that includes the
ability to export PDF documents. But this means a user can take a picture of a
document, and have the texts recognized and any images on the page recollected by
Prizmo, so that it looks identical to the printed page. And KNFB reader, by
contrast furnishes away images, and only recollects the printed text. And it
has PDF export which is an important feature to you; Then Prizmo may be a
better option for you.
And If you are looking
for a text recognition app with great speed and accuracy, I think you will be
quite pleased. And then if The KNFB reader fits your budget, then you won't be
disappointed. To KNFB Reader which costs are $100 and you can download the app
